YES. I love tangrams! I've spent hours trying to perfect the ones I've cut from paperboard -- the work was practice, I think, for wooden ones. they are the easiest to manipulate.
The great minds in history spent hours hunched over their tangrams. Why did we abandon them in our kindergarten toy boxes?
I know. The other week, I was over at my mother's condo (which she bought and then got a job on the other side of the country-- long story) and found a set. Boots kept picking out shapes and I'd make them in no time flat. It was pretty amazing to see how much of those spacial manipulation skills were still in the back of my head,
