Find a home for this bunny
Alright, I'm gunning for the front page one this one. You see the adorable bunny in the photo? This was my bunny until I fled the state of Massachusetts leaving a flaming trail of bad debts behind me. Our car had been declared DOA and the plans to drive from MA to AZ had to be scrapped. Three pets, two people with pet carriers on two separate flights, what were we going to do?*
It has come to my attention that this adorable little creature is still living with the House Rabbit Network lady in MA and hasn't found a home to call his own yet. (She changed his name back to the name he had when we first took him in. Bogart. She says it has something to do with the actor, we think it's because he's always bogarting the hay.)
Haruki is a three year old mini-rex who likes to sit under shelves and be nestled right under your chin when he's scared. He does sort of still think he's in charge, so he may not bond well with other rabbits. Did I mention that in the weeks before the move when I knew I was going to have to give him up, I picked up a towel that he would always try to shred whenever we trimmed his nails and broke down in tears? Me! Large bald man, weeping like a small child! Does that not pull your heartstrings?
At the end of the day, maybe it didn't make a lot of sense to adopt a bunny, knowing full well that I was allergic to fur and even more allergic to hay, but I got pretty damned attached to the little lagamorph, and I want to see him go to a home where he can be loved and given all the shelves to sit under that he might ever want. So, favorite this, mark it good, tell your friends, and if you live near Boston, please consider adopting an adorable little bunny rabbit. Thanks.

* The night before I got on the plane, I had to sell some crap to a friend of mine as in order to afford the cab ride, so buying him another seat on the plane was sort of not an option. Not to mention that JetBlue allowed the kitty, but wouldn't allow the bunny on the flight.
