For those who don't pay attention to my tumblog

First, as a thank you for the Sterogum tip-off: there's also 3GB of music from SXSW for those who might have missed the post on Lifehacker.  In other news a PMOG mission led me to the best food pr0n site ever.  In the sense of food that gives you voyeuristic glee, not naked chicks covered in flour.

Seriously, let me send you a PMOG invite.  So.  Much.  Fun.

Ugh, I've been putting off downloading the SXSW music because I need to prioritize what I'll bring with me to work on my rapidly-shrinking free space on my laptop harddrive, but I guess I'll go get it, since I've now seen the link in about 12 different places :-)

My widget's not working either :( So much for technology.

Correction, after I logged back in to widgetbox and refreshed my vox page, it loaded, after showing that gear logo for a good while. Maybe it's just bogged down and running slow?

Very little to none, since at this point it's still in the way early adopter phase. Does it have social utility? Damn skippy it does!

Grrrrr, arrrgh... I *HATE* new and exciting things!

(Do you have a Scottsdale Pub Lib card? Have you played with their tricked-out catalog system?)

Boots does. So far, even more reading than usual hasn't extended to needing to go by myself to get books from the library, so she just uses her card. As for the tricked out card catalog system, I'm not sure. We've reserved books, renewed things online, and browsed the catalog. Is any of that tricked out?

The vendor of our catalog system told us that they have Encore catalog upgrade with tagging enabled. I can get far enough in to see that and so far the tags suck on everything but manga. They are also supposed to have the catalog tracking registrations for programs and classes AND some pathfinders for research but I can't really get to that stuff... if it's there. =\

OH HOLY SHIT! I just found a register for this program thing under Manga Mania. Sweet! Now if I could just find the pathfinders...
