I only publish this when it makes me look cool

You mean iTunes actually scrobbles stuff from your iPod?? Mine has NEVER done it for me....*sigh*
I use a version of the original audioscrobler plugin for iTunes that some people kept alive after last.fm switched to its big, bulky player. I think it's Mac-only, though.
oh well...I guess I'll just keep making new playlists of the songs I listen to daily and playing them at night....
Wow, that seems like an awful lot of work...but I guess if you listen to a lot of music on your iPod, that's the only way you can get accurate figures, huh?

I was just reading on the Creative Zen user group about some software that supposedly scrobbles my Vision:M's tracks, but I have yet to spend the time to get it working.
Ok, I decided to procrastinate for the 10 minutes it took me to get Zenses working for my player. Whee, now I can scrobble my tracks that I listen to on the road!

Realistically though, for the amount of time I listen to music on my device, it should make virtually no difference to my last.fm stats. Except if I were to leave in all the podcasts and audiobooks, which make up 95% of my daily commute's aural background.
For Windows....looks for iSproggler...it does the trick when on the rare occasion last.fm doesn't notice my iPod...it always recognizes the 20G but just started noticing my lil shuffle....
oh...and just in case you're not familiar with the whole thang....make sure you don't play anything in iTunes until you've submitted your tracks via iSproggler....it'll think you're spamming if something gets scrobbled via iTunes and then you try to upload the day's tracks from your iPod....
There should be an iSproggler group over at last.fm for better explanations of everything...
I don't scrobble me pod. Way too lazy for that.

And, what playlist could possibly ever make the Mook look anything but cool? I'm trying to imagine that...
I think it's usually when it's just me listening to more Decemberists and Jonathan Richman, and indie band of the week. Weeks that prove I don't really have that varied musical tastes.
