Mookish Maladies
Whoa. That allergies-clog-up-my-sinuses-and-screw-up-my-inner-ear thing is back. I'm used to it happening in the spring time, but I think this is the blooming season hereabouts.
The funny part of this story is that when it first happened, I talked myself into thinking it was some sort of massive neurological disorder, and worked up enough anxiety that I had insomnia for a month.
Actually, no. The first time it happened, I slept in the attic of our aging Victorian and had a dream I was on a storm-tossed schooner. When I woke up, the deck was still pitching and until I got downstairs and it settled, I was sure I had meningitis.
Mmm, hypochondria.
