The Red Wagon Story

I swear I've told this story, but maybe it was on LJ, so I'll bore you all with it again. The story goes that for one of my early christmases, my folks were considering getting me a little red wagon. I was, at the time, so wee that I would really have no use for such a thing, and an honest-to-goodness radio flyer was a bit on the pricey side for a couple of recent grads. In the end, they decided to go for it.

If I am to believe them, I spent all of Christmas Day sitting in the wagon, and would whine, cry, and protest if taken out of it.

This is all hearsay, of course, but I take it as writ, and therefore accord a certain amount of respect and reverence to pictures of little red wagons.

I must be feeling nostalgia for a time when I listened to albums. Getting into the groove of a particular group and letting their gestalt permeate my day. Another "classic" at least by my standards. Nothing like a good Howl reference.
