I'm told that Doughty wrote this song about how pointless and assinine it is to take out your aggressions about corporate America on the employees of a small cog in the machine. On the other hand, I'm sure it feels very cathartic and that is, after all, the quote I have under my picture at this blog. So give 'em hell and get out there for your long weekends, if you've got 'em.
At this point, I sort of assume that most of you have seen the ads for Mike Doughty's upcoming album, but just in case, check it out.
And it certainly doesn't hurt that Classmates.com also advertises on VOX:

My answer may be a bit pedestrian this week, but that's all the more reason to post it now before someone beats me to it and I really have to think. Besides, it's like an ode to my life.
And, strangely, this is was the ode to my life around the time it came out too....
