Remember the Question of the Day? In all its (occasionally) inane glory, it was always there for us. Big and obvious when we were feeling uninspired. It united all of us as a community, no matter what we usually blogged about. Whatever happened to those days? The Question of the Day has now been deemed less important than a). finding your friends who use Gmail, Hotmail, and AOL, b). VoxHunt and c). Advertisement. Really, I got nothing. I just remember liking this when I was all "fuck you" and "in your face".
Thank you all for your kind words and sleep songs. Even though Bootsie and I had plans that evening, I went home, had dinner, and fell right into a deep, sound sleep. Bootsie was sleeping on the generous mook belly, and our youngest kitten was sleeping on the smooth domed mook head. It was quite relaxing.

It looks like it's my week to pick the theme, but I got a really crummy night's sleep last night and I'm exhausted. Consequently, all I care about are thoughts of sleep, laying down, dreaming, resting, relaxing, etc. So that's our theme for this week.

Here's another track from one of those random bands that one of my friends was in at some point.
Sadly, I have to say I got to see them play and for most of the show I sat outside the club and chatted with my friends. Mainly because they were mostly just being a cover band and playing alternative hits of the 90's. I feel like sort of a bitchy snob for this, but I could still hear them outside, just at a more subdued level and I really really love their original compositions. Unfortunately, my friend left the band under somewhat strained circumstances, so I never bothered to see if they made anything of themselves. I'm guessing no.
